New Toys Thursdays - Twilight Mania - A Barbie Bella Doll?

Now that Twilight is a genuine cultural world-wide hit, Mattel has swung into action to create Barbie Twilight Bella Dolland a Barbie Twilight Edward Doll. Stephenie Meyers is said to have visited Mattel to help design the dolls. What do you think?

Amber - while I liked to collect dolls growing up, I didn't really play with them. I think Barbie, especially a Barbie from Twilight, appeals to older girls who are 7 and up. Twilight the books and even the movie is supposed to be for young adults so combining that with Barbie seems completely age-inappropriate.
